I tested positive for Covid-19:

Quarantine until:

  •  10 days have passed since symptoms first appeared or the positive COVID-19 test result

AND

  • No fever for at least 24 hours (that is one full days of no fever without the use of medicine that reduces fevers)

AND

All symptoms have improved (for example, your cough or shortness of breath have resolved)

Quarantine Period – Positive COVID-19

NOTE: Those with severe cases of COVID-19 may be required to quarantine for 20 days instead of 10. The determination will be made by a physician.

I am vaccinated, but I was in close contact with someone who tested positive for Covid-19(excluding Besaw Center):

Isolation Period

People who are fully vaccinated and not employed at or reside at the Besaw Center will isolate for a minimum of 3 days from the last contact. The person will then be tested for COVID-19. If the test results are negative, the person will be released from isolation, but will be required to wear a mask when in public or in the workplace for a minimum of 14 days following the last contact.

I am vaccinated, and someone in my household tested positive for Covid-19 (excluding Besaw Center):

Household contacts that are fully vaccinated and not employed at or reside at the Besaw Center will isolate for a minimum of 3 days from the last contact. If you continue living in the same household as a person who tested positive for Covid-19 your 3-day isolation starts once they end quarantine. The person will then be tested for COVID-19. If the test results are negative, the person will be released from isolation, but will be required to wear a mask when in public or in the workplace for a minimum of 14 days following the last contact.

I am NOT vaccinated, and I was in close contact with someone who tested positive for Covid-19(excluding Besaw Center):

Isolation Period

People who are not fully vaccinated and have close contact with a person who tested positive will isolate themselves in their home for 14 days from the date of last contact. A test is provided between 3-5 days after last contact to confirm the person is not positive. If they are positive, they will follow guidance for someone who tested positive.

I am NOT vaccinated, and someone in my household tested positive for Covid-19

Quarantine Period – Household Contact – Continued Daily Contact Not Vaccinated

Household contacts who are not vaccinated will isolate for 14 days from the last contact. If you continue living in the same household as a person who tested positive for Covid-19 your last contact starts once the positive person’s quarantine ends.

NOTE: If additional household members test positive, then the isolation periods start over for the household.
