Jolene Bowman, Ph.D.
Director of Education and Career Services

Jolene has a Doctorate in Leadership for the Advancement of Learning and Service in Higher Education from Cardinal Stritch.  She joined the Education and Career Services Department in October 2006.  She is responsible for the oversight of programming that focuses on cultivating academic and career mindsets from youth to adults.

Kim has a Bachelor of Applied Science in  Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Green Bay. She joined the Education and Career Services Department in June 2021. She is active in the daily operations of the Education programs.  Processing all program service applications, including Higher Education, Adult Education and Student Activities. She also assists in coordinating the annual Senior Banquet.

Emily has a Bachelor Degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Ripon College.  She joined the Education and Career Services Department in February 2023.  Her position is responsible for coordinating culturally responsive career planning programs for both adults and youth to improve employability for attaining or keeping the right job.

Delores Castellanos, BS

Delores has a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education through the College of Menominee Nation and is currently working through the University of Wisconsin-Superior to obtain her Master of Science in Education-Instruction.  She joined the Head Start family in 2006 as a fill-In Assistant Teacher until she was hired as a full-time Assistant Teacher in 2009.  In 2012 she became a Lead Teacher and continues in that role presently.  As a Lead Teacher, Dee is responsible for implementing  research-based teaching strategies while ensuring all children are engaged in enriched learning experiences.  She creates and maintains a safe, fun, nurturing  learning environment which supports learning and aligns with the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes.

Donnette Weiterman

Donnette graduated from East West Healing Arts Institute in 2016 and is a Licensed Massage Therapist. Prior to graduation she was Kitchen Manager at Kwik Trip #546 in Beaver Dam, WI. Donnette  joined the Head Start team as the cook in November 2021.  Daily she prepares healthy, nutritious meals and snacks for the children enrolled in the program.  She also provides support in developing materials to helping families to foster healthy eating habits within the home.  Donnette has always been an advocate of the JERF(just eat real food) life. She enjoys trying new foods and recipes. 

Teniesha Cole, AAS

Teniesha holds an Associates of Arts & Sciences in Early Childhood Education through the College of Menominee Nation where she is currently working to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Early/Middle Childhood Education.  She anticipates graduating in December 2022.   Teniesha joined the Stockbridge-Munsee Electa Quinney Head Start team in 2009 as a substitute teacher.  She was promoted to Assistant Teacher in 2012 and  has been in her current role as Lead Teacher since 2019. She is responsible for creating developmentally appropriate and enriched curriculum by applying intentional teaching strategies necessary to shape our future leaders.   As a Lead Teacher Teniesha she  ensures a safe and welcoming learning environment for students and their families.   She also conducts assessments of developmental milestones and collects data to ensure content and activities are geared toward each child’s needs.  Teniesha  firmly believes that children need to know  they are valued, and that with nurturing teachers who recognize each child’s individuality, all children  will grow and flourish.

Amber Gilmore

Amber has an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Early Childhood Education from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College.   She joined the Head Start team as a Teacher Assistant  in August of 2022.   Prior to joining the team, Amber had five years’ experience educating young children (primarily 3- to 5- year-olds) and preparing them for school.   Her role as a Teacher Assistant includes assisting with the children, preparing materials for classroom activities, cleaning and sanitizing supplies and materials, and transporting children home from Head Start.

Oleyna holds an Associates of Arts & Sciences in Early Childhood Education and Liberal Studies through the College of Menominee Nation.  Oleyna joined the Stockbridge-Munsee Electa Quinney Head Start team in 2017 as an Administrative Assistant.  She  is responsible for assisting the Head Start Manager in a variety of administrative duties.  Her responsibilities include record keeping, maintaining and processing  purchase orders.  She is responsible for answering  incoming telephone calls, determining the  purpose of calls, and forwarding them to the appropriate personnel or department while ensuring professional telephone etiquette. Oleyna also provides support in the classroom by  filling in as a Teacher Assistant.
